Founded in 1980...

RIPCA Organization 

The Rhode Island Area Peace Corps Association, formerly known as the Rhode Island Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, is a non-profit, membership organization comprised of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV's) and former staff, plus supporters and friends of Peace Corps. RIPCA is governed by a board of volunteers who work to ensure the mission of the membership organization is being fulfilled. Members are returned volunteers, families, friends, allies, and potential volunteers. Membership to RIPCA is free and our events are open to anyone interested in learning more about Peace Corps!

We are an affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA).

NPCA is the nonprofit alumni network at the center of a vibrant community of over 220,000 people who share the Peace Corps experience. NPCA champions lifelong commitment to Peace Corps ideals by connecting, engaging and promoting its members and affiliate groups as they continue to make a difference in communities in the U.S. and abroad.
