What We Do

    In efforts to foster a vibrant community, the RIPCA group has four focus areas

     

    1. Think Global, Act Local - Linking the RPCV community through service projects and community action

    2. Advocacy - Acting in support of the U.S. Peace Corps and other international programs.

    3. Volunteer Support - Throughout the volunteer life cycle, from recruiting, invitation, service, to reintegration post-service, and their families; linking with URI Peace Corps Prep program.

    4. Networking - linking with RPCVs locally, statewide, and nationally.

    We are an affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA).

    NPCA is the nonprofit alumni network at the center of a vibrant community of over 220,000 people who share the Peace Corps experience. NPCA champions lifelong commitment to Peace Corps ideals by connecting, engaging and promoting its members and affiliate groups as they continue to make a difference in communities in the U.S. and abroad.
